Click HereThe vacuum oil filtration machine is designed according to the different principles of the boiling points of water and oil, and consists of a vacuum separator tank, a heater, a filter, a vacuum pump, an oil drain pump and an electrical cabinet. It is widely used for filtering insulating oil, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, refrigerating machine oil and other oils with moisture, gas and impurity particles in power plants, power stations, substations, electrical appliances manufacturers, oil refineries, petrochemicals and other industrial and mining enterprises. However, as the service life of the equipment increases, some users will encounter malfunctions during use. Now let’s analyze the common faults and solutions of the vacuum oil filter system.
1. The vacuum degree does not meet the technical standards
① There is too much water in the oil, leading to the gas extracted by the vacuum pump containing too much water.
Solutions: It is a normal situation, and the oil should be cycling filtered.
②Due to the different altitudes of the operation place, the vacuum degree will be affected if it is not under the standard atmospheric pressure. For example, in high altitudes area, the vacuum degree will be affected by the weather condition, such as low pressure, oxygen scarce, big temperature difference between day and night, cold large sand, etc. The higher altitude, the lower vacuum degree. In theses areas, the main components of the vacuum oil filtration machine’s motor, is required a higher insulation level, better ventilation and heat dissipation structure and anti-vibration, anti-sand and other structures of the electric machine.
Solutions: use a double-stage rotary vane vacuum pump with high pumping speed to increase the temperature of the oil to evaporate the water.
③The vacuum oil is below the oil level line in the vacuum pump.
Solution: Add vacuum oil
④ There is too much water in the vacuum oil due to long time use.
Solution: replace with new vacuum oil.
⑤The connections are sealed with oil leakage.
Solution: Check and repair
⑥ The damage of vacuum pump’s wearing parts, such as bearings, oil seal, O-ring and rotary vane.
Solution: check and replace the wearing parts
2. The vacuum pump oil should be drained and injected a small amount of new oil after every half a year.
The pulley should be rotated manually to make the new oil clean the inside of the pump, and then let it out. After repeating this step twice, inject enough vacuum pump oil into the oil tank.
