What is an oil regeneration process plant?
DVTP-R Transformer Oil Regeneration Process Plant is used in repair of power transformers and reactors with voltage up to 1150 kV inclusively, and for recondition of transformer oils and also at mineral oil facilities in view of further regeneration.
Functions
It can treat deteriorated transformer oil.
It can significantly improve oil color.
Dark-colored oil can be retrofitted to the color less than 1.5.
It can recover aging insulating oil electrical with PH value ≥5.5, acid value ≤0.03 mg koH/g, or dielectric loss factors tgδ (90℃) ≤0.001 back to new oil characteristics.
Control of strategic asset is retained. Oil in use is an asset. Use of regeneration technology removes dependence of the oil company on replacement suppliers and isolates them from wildly fluctuating external market prices.
There are two methods to solve the excessive dielectric loss of transformer oil, one is to replace the unqualified transformer oil and re-inject the oil that has passed the electrical test and chemical analysis; the other is to regenerate the transformer oil by fuller’s earth treatment.
In dealing with the problem of excessive corrosive sulfur in transformer oil, adding passivators is the most effective, because metal passivators can form a passivation film on the surface of copper wires to protect them from corrosive sulfur.
Solutions:
For deteriorated transformer oil, DVTP-R-150(9000L/hr) Transformer Oil Regeneration Process Plant is highly recommended. which use strong polar silicon-alumina adsorbent for regeneration filter element, T501 antioxidant and T551 passivator as supplements. After the regeneration treatment, the acid value, volume resistivity, dielectric loss factor, etc. in the oil refer to the better the effect with the increase of the adsorbent amount, and the lighter the color of the oil.
